COVID-19 Level One 

We are OPEN, however there are still a few things that are different: 

If you are booking an appointment because you have a viral illness (cough, cold, runny nose, sore throat) please let us know as we will book you into the viral clinic. This is to ensure both your well-being and that of our staff.

For all patients when you come to the medical centre for your appointment our receptionist will ask you the following:

Have been overseas recently?

Have you had contact with anyone who has been overseas recently?

Have you had contact with any potential recent exposure to Covid-19 such as being a close contact of a confirmed or probable case? 

If you answer YES - we will still see you, however, we may ask you to wait in the car and the doctor or nurse will come and get you.

The main actions we can all follow to keep safe are to:

Keep track of your movements by using the Government contact tracer. We have the Ministry of Health QR Code for contact tracing on our reception desk.

Use the hand gel on the counter and in the waiting room before and after touching surfaces.

Labtests

The good news is that the Helensville Labtest clinic is back open its usual hours.

You no longer need to pick up a paper-based form for testing. We have sent your form electronically to LabTests. You simply need to go to the LabTest site and they will be able to access your request.

Manage My Health

We have opened up the online booking facility so you can now book your own appointment, however there are some screening questions you needs to answer first.
Remember you can also use Manage My Health to order your repeat prescription. 

E-Prescriptions

Prescriptions are now sent electronically to the pharmacy of your choice so you don't need to come in and collect them. You can pay us online or if you don't have internet banking, you can settle your bill with us at reception. 

Flu Vaccinations

We have stock at the for all patients. Please phone us to make an appointment. The cost for non-eligible patients is $35

Other information

We can now do follow up WINZ Certificate renewals and ACC off work certificates via a phone consult. The same fee will apply as if you had a face to face consultation. 

Repeat prescriptions and queries about results can be done via Manage My Health or phoning the clinic

Our business hours remain the same:

Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.00pm  
Wednesday evening clinic 5.30pm-7.30pm
Saturday urgent clinic 8.30am-12.00pm

Payment for Services

Payment for non-face to face services can be done via internet banking. We will send you a text message with the cost of the service and our bank account number. However, if for any reason you do not receive a text and wish to pay your account please see below for our bank details.
