May 2014 saw a golf tournament at South Head Golf Course raise valuable funds for a new vaccine fridge for the Kaipara Medical Centre.

Organised by Corrections Office Joseph Docherty, the golf tournament raised more than $7000.  $3650 went towards of that went towards our new vaccine fridge which replaces a 10 year old unit at the Centre.  The other money raised went to youngster Madeline Henchelwood who is battling with leukemia.

We are thrilled to hear that the golf tournament will become an annual event given its success in 2014.
