We will be open during the Christmas/New Year period, but we will be running our clinics slightly differently. There will be no routine bookable appointments from Wednesday 28 December through Friday 30 December & Wednesday 4 January through to Friday 6 January. During this time, our GP will be triaging all calls on the day, and we will see urgent patients only.
Our staffing will be reduced during this period to allow the rest of the team to take a well-deserved break to recharge and spend time with their whānau and friends. Please note that we are closed Saturday 24 December - Tuesday 27 December and Saturday 31 December - Tuesday 3 January.

Repeat Prescriptions
So we can manage your repeat prescriptions during this period, please check now to see that you have enough medication to last between 23 December 2022 to 6 January 2023. If you are likely to run out during this time, then please call us now to organise a repeat prescription ahead of time. This must be done by Tuesday 20 December.
After Hours / Emergency

If you call after hours, you will be put through to a triage nurse who will direct you to either the after-hours doctor on duty or emergency services.

- Westgate Medical Centre, open 8am – 8pm, 7 days.
