With the ongoing shortage of GPs in New Zealand, our team are constantly looking for ways to better serve our enrolled patients, and provide continued care.

One of our recent initiatives has been an acute care duty clinic for our enrolled patients, providing same-day access for those that need to be seen acutely (i.e. have an urgent medical problem or require treatment for an accident and need to be seen same day).

Patients attending the clinic will be seen first by a triage nurse who will assess whether you need to be seen by the duty doctor or nurse practitioner – there will be a standard consultation charge for this service. Patients may not always be seen in the order they arrive, as it will depend on the triage scale process. If the illness or injury isn’t an urgent medical problem, you may be offered a later appointment time.

The Duty Clinic will run weekdays from 9am – 3pm.
