We will be open during the Christmas/New Year period, but we will be running our clinics slightly differently. There will be no routine bookable appointments from 27 December through 29 December & 3 January through to 5 January. During this time, our GP will be triaging all calls on the day, and we will see urgent patients only.

Our staffing will be reduced during this period to allow the rest of the team to take a well-deserved break to recharge and spend time with their whānau and friends. Please note that we are closed 23 December - 26 December and 30 December - 2 January.

If you are unwell over the summer break* and need to see a doctor while we are closed, we are pleased to let you know that, thanks to funding from ProCare, we are able to offer virtual appointments with a doctor for the same cost you would normally pay if you were coming to see us in person.

To see a virtual doctor, all you need is a computer or smart phone. In your normal web browser, enter book.unifyhealth.co.nz in the bar at the top, which will bring up a screen for you to enter your name and contact details. You will then be taken through the process of booking an appointment (see more detailed steps below).

Your appointment will be with a doctor from CareHQ, which is a trusted online service with highly qualified New Zealand doctors, plus they are available from 7am – 7pm, 7 days a week (including public holidays).
